The citizens of Vernon Center have the unique opportunity to choose to send their students to two school districts: Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial School District in Lake Crystal, Minnesota and Maple River School District in Mapleton, Minnesota.

• Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial schools are located in Lake Crystal, MN. A bus will pick up and drop off children at different locations within city limits. Please refer to the Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial School website for more information.
• Maple River Schools are located in Mapleton, Good Thunder and Minnesota Lake. Buses will pick up children at different locations within the City of Vernon Center. Please refer to their website for more information.
