The City of Vernon Center is sited on the north side of the scenic Blue Earth River in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. State Highway 169 splits this well-kept town located half-way between Mankato and Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Surrounded by southern Minnesota’s richest farmland, Vernon Center revolves around the area’s agriculturally based economy as well as mainstay businesses within its city limits.

Vernon Center is on the map as a stop for the Daniel Boone Motor trail. The Daniel Boone Trail is a self-guided vehicle tour from Elmore, MN to Garden City, MN with the Original Daniel Boone Trail Assn. establishment in 1915.
