Minnesota Dept. of Health Lead and Copper finding notification for the City of Vernon Center

The City of Vernon Center has completed and submitted our service line materials inventory to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The service line inventory is publicly available, and you can check the materials for your service line by visiting the Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT) at https://maps.umn.edu/LSL/ you may also contact us at City Hall at (507) 549.3240.
To complete the service line inventory our system, the City of Vernon Center took pictures requested by home owners, onsite visits, service line replacements since 2010, construction projects dating 1992 MNDOT 169 project, 2005 Park Ave north project, 2006 Centre Street S and Hilltop water main project, 2015 INI street project, 2023 DEED water project and 2023, and 2024 bonding projects.
As of 7/31/2024, our inventory contains 0 lead, 0 galvanized requiring replacement, 2 unknown material, and #174 service lateral services with 168 active connections non-lead service lines.
